Osight C- Best Optic for the Price?
Best competition optic for the price

OSightC Red Dot Optic — ★★★★☆ (4/5)
Great value for money. The OSightC has a large window that makes the red dot quick and easy to find — comparable in size to the Holosun 507 Comp/407 Comp.
It's rugged. I've dropped it a number of times and it hasn't lost zero. I've put a thousand rounds through it without having to re-zero, and it hasn't come loose. That last point matters: loosening is a reported issue with some OSight optics, but mine — mounted to a Gen 5 Glock 47 — has stayed locked in. It's scratched up from the drops and still runs perfectly.
The one thing keeping this from a 5/5 is longevity. I've only had it about three months, so I can't speak to long-term durability yet, though initial impressions are strong. I've also had reports from people I know who bought it that the battery runs low fairly quickly. That said, OSight's customer support has been fantastic — one person with a battery issue had their optic replaced at no cost.
Would I run it on a duty or everyday-carry gun just yet? Not quite — I'd want more time on it first. But for the price, there isn't much that beats it. Highly recommend the OSightC. Bottom line: 4/5 — excellent value, rugged, easy-to-find dot. Knocking off one star only for unproven longevity and some reported battery life concerns.
