Best sidecar holster

Before anything else: holsters are personal. What works for me depends on my height, my build, how I dress and how I carry. What works for you might be completely different. So read this as one member’s experience, not a universal recommendation.

About me

I’m 5'7". My mom says 5'8", and I’m not going to argue with her. I mention it because height and torso length matter a lot with appendix carry. A holster that disappears on one person can dig in or print on another. On my frame, this holster doesn’t feel too big, which was my biggest worry going into a sidecar.

What I like

Weight distribution. The dual clips spread the weight across my belt really well. No hot spots, and no feeling that everything is hanging off one point.

The magazine offset. I expected the mag carrier to be the thing I noticed all day. It isn’t. The offset is not intrusive at all, and having a reload on board without wearing a separate carrier is a real plus.

Clever design details. There are ridges built into the holster that push it into your body. It’s a small touch, but it makes a real difference for concealment.

Quality. It’s well made, and it feels like it was designed by people who actually carry.

Who it’s for

If you carry appendix and want your gun and a spare magazine in one package, this is worth a serious look. For AIWB, it’s ideal.

Bottom line

I love this holster. That’s the honest review. But “I love it” only goes so far, because your body isn’t my body. If you can, try one on before you buy, or buy from a company with a fair return policy. And if you want to see mine in person, ask me at the next range day.
